The University Of Hargeisa is a proud producer of the largest number number of graduates in any level whether it’d postgraduate, undergraduate or diploma programs. The University Of Hargeisa has helped launch students in all kinds of diverse career paths and streams. It has helped kick start the professional collective future of their student body.
The University Of Hargeisa has also produced students and graduates that have carved and created their own career paths through entrepreneurship, initiative and innovation. Academia isn’t the only thing fostered in the student body, students are encouraged to work their minds towards their passion and make it a reality, an impactful reality.
The Following is a list of students whom have attended or are still attending the University Of Hargeisa who through their entrepreneurial products and/or services have landed a meeting with the president of the Republic Of Somaliland Mr. Muse Bihi Cabdi and other officials in which the youth thoroughly discussed their initiatives and business ventures:

Duco Cumar Abdillahi is a young entrepreneur from the faculty of Nutrition under the College of Applied & Natural Science here at the University Of Hargeisa, she is the creator of Duco Natural Creams in which she has created non toxic natural Aloe Vera and Honey based products.

Zeinab Abdillahi Elmi who is the creator of a non artificial aloe vera based oil is from the faculty of Nutrition under the College of Applied & Natural Science here at the University Of Hargeisa, she started this this business back in 2016 and is still going at it strong.

Ahmed Ibrahim Abdulrahman is the creator of Online Somali Library which is a virtual library encompassing more than 1320 writings either in Somali or about Somalis, the materials at the virtual library range from books, essays, news and research. the library has over 700,000 readers and continues to grow. Ahmed is current student at the Hargeisa School Of Economics here at the University Of Hargeisa

Ayan Haibe Ismail is the creator and the entrepreneur behind A-Haibe Products, she was a student at faculty of Nutrition under the College of Applied & Natural Sciences here at the University Of Hargiesa. A-Haibe Products currently carries two products which are 1) A-Haibe Frying Flour and 2) A-Haibe Carrot Nourishing Oil.

Ridwa Anwar Ismail is from the faculty of Nutrition under the College of Applied & Natural Science here at the University Of Hargeisa she is also a midwife and a nurse. She is the entrepreneur behind the creation of the very first nutritional supplements manufacturing business in the Republic Of Somaliland, those nutritional supplements are non toxin plant base and made from the produce of the Republic Of Somaliland as well as exported foreign produce. This product has a balanced foundation and can be used to suffice for any other vitamin and/or nutritional supplement. This product is meant to bring nutritional value to the diet of children whom have lost their appetite as well as providing nutrition to children under one year old, elderly people whom have been the subject of diseases and pregnant women et cetera. Ridwa has also implemented and started the very first nutritional center her in the Republic Of Somaliland which provides all of the necessary nutritional tools and resources.

Nadiifo Soap Factory is a company launched by a group of budding young entrepreneurs among which is Abdirizak Ahmed Abdi a current student at the College Of Islamic Studies & Arabic Language at the University Of Hargeisa, the company came about as an intuitive to cover the need for non-chemical based soap products here in the Republic Of Somaliland. All of the company’s products are natural and plant based, the company was launched in Oct 2016 it was on a proportional test period for 4-5 months and officially entered the market on August 2017, to date this company has produced over 1000 bars of soap.
