The College of Medicine and Health Science of Hargeisa University attended Somaliland Medical Fair and Conference 2019, the first-ever medical and healthcare exhibition and conference in Somaliland.
The college has been an important part of the fair and the conference. It presented the performance of the different Faculties under the College including Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery and Faculty of Optometry and Orthoptics. Free health services were also provided by College students and doctors. The college also provided a mix of research and advice about common diseases to the guests of the conference.
The president of Somaliland H.E Muse Bihi Abdi was among the guests who visited the University site in the fair. The president and other guests at the exhibition testified about the beautiful and unobtrusive nature of the Medical College at the University of Hargeisa.
