UNIVERSITY OF HARGEISA is looking for a qualified applicant for the vacant Dean of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities position at the University of Hargeisa, Somaliland.
The applicant will be expected to provide leadership in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities of the University of Hargeisa. He/she must demonstrate high professional education and practical educational experience including research, teaching, scholarly activities and services. The successful applicant will also be in charge of the day to day administration, organization and development by planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the College programs and services.

Requirements for the Dean of College of social Sciences and Humanities position:
- A Masters Degree in Social Science.
- Strong record of teaching, research and managing experience in Higher Academic areas.
- Publications scholarly experience in this field.
- Ability to contribute to the College, the program and its curriculum
- capacity to contribute to the development and management of the school’s projects
- Ability and willingness to provide assertive advocacy on behalf of the University.
- Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Somali.
- High Integrity/ethics and the ability to meet deadlines.
